UNIT SIZE

When it comes to betting, especially when our goal is to bet strategically rather than placing random wagers, the first and most critical step is defining our unit size. Unit size refers to the portion of our total bankroll that we wager on each individual bet. This concept is essential because money holds different values for different people. For example, 100 euros might seem like a significant amount to one person, while for someone else, it may feel like a trivial sum. This is why, in professional betting, we measure our profits in units.

The size of your unit directly correlates with the level of risk you're willing to take. A smaller unit size means lower risk, while a larger unit size increases risk. Now, let’s dive into how you can determine your own unit size. According to standard betting strategy, your unit size should ideally be around 1% of your total bankroll. However, many people starting out may not have a large enough bankroll for 1% to feel impactful, making it difficult to get started.

In such cases, we suggest taking on a slightly higher level of risk until you’ve built up a solid, larger bankroll. Once you’ve achieved that, you can gradually reduce your risk by lowering your unit size.

Below, we will provide detailed suggestions and examples to help make the process clear, so that anyone, regardless of their financial situation, can understand how to properly manage their unit size and reduce unnecessary risks.

📌Bankroll < $500: Not suggested
📌Bankroll < $1,000: Unit size 👉5% = $30
📌Bankroll $1,000+: Unit size 👉3% = $30+
📌Bankroll $2,000: Unit size 👉2% = $40
📌Bankroll $3,000+: Unit size 👉2% = $60
📌Bankroll $4,000+: Unit size 👉2% = $80
📌Bankroll $5,000+: Unit size 👉2% = $100
📌Bankroll > $10,000: Unit size 👉1% or lower

We don’t recommend starting any betting system with less than $500 because the potential winnings will be too small, and you may eventually lose motivation. Instead, consider saving money for a few months, then begin investing once you’ve built up a sufficient bankroll.

✳️There’s an important detail to have in mind if you’re a member of veterans group and following our systems. You’ll notice that sometimes we provide picks where we stake 2 units, 3 units, or in very rare cases, even 5 units. We base our betting units on confidence levels and other factors. However, it’s crucial to remember that when we refer to 5 units, we're talking about 5% of our total bankroll.

If you're someone who bets with 5% of your initial bankroll already, you must avoid placing 25% of your entire funds on a single bet. Doing so could have catastrophic consequences if the bet loses. While you can slightly increase your stake if you are betting with 2% or 3%, never go beyond 5%, it’s a risky move that could be disastrous.
